A native Floridian, Salesia V. Smith-Gordon lives by the belief: “What I do is not who I am. Who I am is infused into what I do.” For over 30 years, she has championed justice for the injured and wrongfully killed, merging the precision of a pharmacist with the skill of a seasoned trial lawyer to deliver life-changing results in and out of the courtroom.

Founder of her boutique litigation firm in downtown West Palm Beach, Salesia is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and Florida’s Northern, Middle, and Southern Federal District Courts. She is also a Florida Supreme Court Certified Civil Circuit Mediator and Arbitrator, bringing balance and resolution to complex disputes.

Known for her meticulous preparation and persuasive advocacy, Salesia has secured multiple million-dollar and multi-million-dollar verdicts and settlements for her clients. Her leadership extends well beyond litigation. She served as President of the Sheree Davis Cunningham Black Women Lawyers Association (SDCBWLA), earning ICABA World’s Women of Impact Leading Light Award for her visionary leadership, and is a sought-after speaker on law, leadership, and community empowerment.

A Distinguished Alumna of Florida State University College of Law, Salesia serves as National Alumni Outreach Chair, co-founded the FSU Law Black Alumni Association, and was its inaugural president. She made history as the first Black woman law alumna honored with a portrait on the Rotunda’s Wall of Distinction.

Her community impact includes serving as Chair of the Town of Haverhill Surtax Committee and as Palm Beach County’s first Black female member of the Ethics Commission and Inspector General’s Committee.

A lifelong animal advocate, Salesia has rescued and cared for horses, dogs, and several feral cats turned divas. She is a retired pharmacist who remains active in the field through the National Diamondback Pharmacy Alumni Council and the American Society of Pharmacy Law, embodying her rare ability to bridge law and health.

Warm in presence, fierce in advocacy, and unwavering in principle, Salesia embodies the balance of intellect, integrity, and compassion.
